Rooted deeply in Australia and guided by a profound respect for the land, Temple Farmhouse is the creation of Alita and Lawrence Temple. Their vision is one of stewardship, not extraction, a sanctuary where the earth is honoured, its original custodians remembered, and every guest is enveloped in nature’s quiet, restorative magic.
The original Farmhouse, lovingly restored in 2017, was born from a dream of gathering families in a serene, nature-infused setting. Over time, this vision has flourished, hosting elopements, celebrations, and countless treasured moments that unfold effortlessly among the gardens and landscapes they have nurtured.
The Hangars extend this ethos, offering spaces designed for reflection, reconnection, and inspiration. Set beside a regenerating remnant of the Big Scrub, now in its third year of careful restoration, each Hangar bears the name of a rainforest tree, linking story and landscape. A hidden natural spring invites quiet discovery, while ongoing collaborations with Landcare ensure the land’s vitality and legacy continue to flourish. It is our wish that this sanctuary, created with care and intention, touches your heart and becomes a place you seek out again and again.
